Without Vision, Life Has No Direction
Vision is not just what our eyes see, but what God shows in our heart. Without vision, life becomes directionless, but with vision we walk in God’s purpose. Vision gives us hope, strength, and faith to move forward. Abraham and Joseph lived by God’s vision and saw His promises fulfilled. A church with vision grows strong and stands in God’s will. Hold on to the vision God has given you, for it will surely come to pass.
✝️ Vision Message
Proverbs 29:18 – “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keeps the law, happy is he.”
🌿 Introduction
Dear brothers and sisters, today let us learn about Vision.
What is Vision?
When we say Television, it means something visible before our eyes.
But when we say Vision, it means something that God shows inside our heart.
Vision is not what you see with your eyes, but what you experience in your spirit.
It is an inner picture, a divine direction, a God-given dream for your life.
🌿 Without Vision
The Bible clearly says – “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
This means, when a person has no vision, his life becomes directionless.
He may live, but he will not know where he is going.
Vision gives us direction, purpose, and destination.
Without vision, life is like a ship without a compass.
🕊️ When There Is Vision
A person with vision walks with clarity.
He knows why he is living and where he is going.
-
A church with vision will be strong and united.
-
A family with vision will move forward according to God’s will.
-
A believer with vision will grow in faith, hope, and strength.
Vision brings hope, strengthens faith, and gives us endurance to move forward even in struggles.
📖 Biblical Examples
-
Abraham – God gave him a vision: “Your descendants will be like the stars of the sky and like the sand of the sea.”
Because of this vision, Abraham walked by faith, even when everything seemed impossible. -
Joseph – God gave him a vision at a young age: “One day you will be great, and your brothers will bow before you.”
Though he was betrayed, thrown into prison, and suffered many hardships, that vision kept him alive.
Finally, he became the second ruler of Egypt.
👆 Write the Vision
In Habakkuk 2:2, God said:
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that reads it.”
This means vision should not remain hidden inside our heart.
We must write it down, keep it clear, and pray over it regularly.
When vision is written, it becomes a reminder and a motivator to keep moving forward.
📌 Church Vision
Every church is given a vision by God.
Church is not just a building – it is the Bride of Christ.
The God-given vision is what drives the church forward.
-
Prayers
-
Worship
-
Evangelism
-
Ministries
All of these flow out of that vision.
Without vision, a church becomes only an activity center. With vision, it becomes a living testimony of Christ.
🌍 God’s Appointed Place
We must understand something important: God did not place us randomly.
He has a divine plan for every individual and for every church.
God appoints a specific place for His people to grow and to experience His glory.
That is why we must never abandon the place where God has planted us.
In His chosen place, His blessings and His purposes will be fulfilled in our lives.
🙌 Application
-
Vision gives direction to our life.
-
Vision strengthens our faith.
-
Through vision, our life will move according to God’s will.
-
Vision is not just for individuals – it becomes a blessing for the whole church.
🙏 Prayer
“Lord, open my eyes to clearly see the vision You have prepared for my life.
Show me the purpose You have for my family and my church.
Strengthen me to walk in Your divine plan.
Help me to stay focused on the goal You have set before me.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
